June 10th update has broken custom camera setups!
I am trying to find a way to fix this, but it may not be possible without an official total INI disclosure via information mine, from Bethesda, or other means.
EDIT: The Zoom Out and Zoom In entries still work and then if you want to apply them, experience free:
fPitchZoomOutMaxDist=0.0000
fVanityModeMaxDist=k.0000
fVanityModeMinDist=l.0000
To zoom IN a piffling further, lower fVanityModeMinDist
To zoom OUT further, raise fVanityModeMaxDist

The final patch seems like it fixed bApplyCameraNodeAnimations. At to the lowest degree, it doesn't cause a crash anymore. Notwithstanding, something is still not right... but I'k having trouble figuring out what is wrong.
Maybe I just got used to playing with the default camera lol. n.nUEDIT: No, something is definitely still incorrect. I'm having trouble annexation in tertiary person style, which is an issue with the default photographic camera position that my custom settings used to prepare.EDIT2: I'm incorrect, I recall everything is fixed now. Unfortunately no it doesn't, and I'yard unable to effigy out why.
All I can tell is that the setting bApplyCameraNodeAnimations=0 is what is causing the third person non-scoped zoom upshot to break. And then I guess information technology's non "completely" back to the style things were before they broke the setting...

I believe the f3rdPersonAimDist and the fOverShoulderCombatPosX are linked in a fashion. Play with those respectively to see if you find a solution. If I remember correctly, they needed to be the same, just I may be wrong or things have changed now.

That'southward an interesting idea, I am going to see if it is fifty-fifty possible to rollback the annal, bold information technology was updated (I am not at my rig right now). I am likewise in the process of editing all the overlapping clothing items from FO4 and 76 and so my Hide Your Pip-Male child mod can brandish missing clothing arm sections (f-ing dull work in that location).

aye i wouldn't advise on rerolling the animations file. it was actually updated. gets updated with every patch, that's why i have to install holstered weapons every fourth dimension. you'll have a lot of invisible, uninteractable things in your game. happened to me when they released the vendors. they were in the CAMP menu, only i couldn't place them equally they stayed invisible. i hope bethesda notices this.

That sounds more like a mesh issue than an animation issue. I know they've messed with how collision meshes handle activation actions at to the lowest degree once since the game launched, and that the organisation is already different from what Fallout 4 used.

I can't play like this... I gauge I somehow got used to aiming in 3rd person based on my graphic symbol's position on the screen, considering I keep shooting way too far to the left at everything now!
This is f*cking idiotic - camera settings like these are personal preference, they don't provide any advantages in PvP for NW. If anything they should have disabled FOV settings if they wanted to remove ini edits that could be considered advantageous...

I found that the zoom out function is very advantageous for PVP. I can hide behind a tree and see around the tree and far into the distance in 3rd person. Too for PVE yous can shoot around corners with VATS, as long every bit y'all shoot instantly after activating.

idk what's wrong, i've been using your camera setup for the past several weeks, but after today's patch my game crashes when going into tertiary person. i can't be the just ane? why would bethesda patch that out? removing the camera entry from the custom.ini lets me play the game just fine. but now 3rd person looks similar southward*** over again. damn todd

Only trouble is, the settings become jacked upward in-game when y'all exercise that, making this whole thing useless. I volition await into this some more and try to notice out why information technology'due south doing it. If it's doing information technology for my settings, in theory it will practice it with any settings that have that entry set to naught.

Hi. How increase zoom out speed in 3rd mode (when concur V and pull the mouse)? Too slow by default. Zoom in seems to exist 10 times faster.
